The Projects taken by Kolong Kala Kendra are executed with the donations and collections of its members and well-wishers. KKK has also tried to have projects from the Government which are of course non-recurring projects. The departments from where projects have been already received are Ministry of Cultural Affairs (Museum Section), National Archives of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Sangeet Natak Akademi and Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan. It is mention worthy that the organization is not lucky enough to receive projects from the government every year.
Long-term Projects of Kolong Kala Kendra:-
a. Collection and preservation of antique resources and to make people familiar to those in an appropriate way.
b. Plantation of valuable trees and thus to create a green zone around us.
c. Documentation and cataloguing of old manuscripts preserved in Kolong Museum with the help of Department of Archives of India.
d. Cataloguing of the photographs of the historically important places of Nagaon district.
e. To establish a full-fledged educational institution for methodical study of Art.
